Resetting an Employee’s Attendance Status

The Reset Attendance feature in HRStop allows you to clear an employee’s attendance status for a selected date range. Once reset, the attendance status appears blank, allowing for fresh data entry or corrections.

This feature is useful when correcting bulk entries, removing errors, or clearing manually adjusted records.

Steps to Reset Attendance:

  1. Go to: Menu (Control Panel) → Attendance
  2. Click on the drop-down beside the Import button (top right corner)
  3. Select: Reset
  4. A new page will open:
    • Attendance Period: Choose the relevant date range
    • Reset manually adjusted: Check this box if you wish to reset manually modified attendance entries
    • Employee Selection: Filter employees by department, designation, or employee code
  5. Click on: Reset at the bottom of the page

A success message will confirm that the attendance has been reset for the selected employees and date range.
