Sometimes, due to device errors, field work, or other exceptional cases, an employee’s attendance might not get recorded correctly. HRStop allows Admins to manually adjust these attendance records quickly and easily.
This guide walks you through the simple steps to make manual attendance adjustments.
Who Can Use This?
Only Admins or users with the right permissions can perform manual attendance adjustments. If you don’t see the option, contact your system administrator.
Steps to Manually Adjust Attendance
1. Go to the Attendance Section
- Navigate to: Control Panel → Attendance
2. Click on Manually Adjust
- You'll find this option on the top-right side of the screen.
3. Select the Employee
- In the pop-up window, choose the employee whose attendance you want to adjust.
4. Choose the Source

Pick how the attendance should be marked:
- Biometric
- Mobile
- Web
- Manually Adjust
5. Enter the Punch Time
- Add the correct punch-in and/or punch-out time.
6. Add Comments (Optional)
- Write any notes or reasons (e.g., “Forgot to punch in” or “Was on client visit”).
7. Click Add
- This will apply the changes immediately.
8. Confirmation
You’ll see a success message confirming the attendance has been updated.
