HawkHR enables the admin to define leave encashment process as per company policy. Leaves encashment is basically to encash employee leave. Do ensure that in leaves configuration, the leave category has the option "encashable" opted to encash the leave encash process. Refer to the following steps to encash employee leaves:
Navigate to: Control panel -> Leaves -> Balance
Click on the drop down option of the Manually adjust button (given in the page action bar) and click on Encash leave balance option, a new page will open up showing fields to encash leave balance
Till date and Effective date: Select Till date (leaves credits available till date would be encashed) and Effective date (arrear amount equivalent to leave encashment amount would be added for this date for the employees)
Consider future leaves: By default, leave balances available till date (selected above) would be encashed. If the employees would have also applied for future leaves, those would be ignored. In case you would want the future leave balances also to be adjusted with leaves available for encashment, select this option.
Select Round Off Leave balance and number of days
Select Leave Type
Select the option on which Leave encash is based on (LOP, Basic, Basic + DA, Specified), also enter the value of leave credits, this value will be added as arrears to the employee's account
Click on Next button
Select the employees by selecting Entity, Departments or Employee code
Users also have an option of Import leave , if he do not prefer to update it manually
Read the instruction given on the right side of the page
Click on Download Sample CSV File, edit it and upload it
Click on Upload to upload the file
Click on Next to Preview the salary, option of Copy, Print, CSV (to download the computed amount in CSV format) are also available
Click on Next button
Click on Finish button
A notification of successful encashment will be shown. All the changes will be made instantly.
