Reset Leave Balance

HawkHR enables admin to reset all the leave balance corresponding to leave type. Leave balance and leave applied upto selected date end of day will be reset, leave applied for after selected date will not be considered (for making it consider, mark the check box of 'Consider future leaves'). Refer to the following steps to reset leave balance:

  1. Navigate to: Control panel -> Leaves -> Balance

  2. Click on the drop down option of the Manually adjust button (available in the page action bar), click on Reset Leave Balance option.

  3. A new page will open up showing fields for resetting leave balance:

    1. Select Leave Till Date.

    2. Consider future leaves: Mark the check box to Consider future leaves

    3. Select the Leave Type (Comp-Off/ Personal Leave, etc)

    4. Select the employee on the basis of Department, Designation or Employee code.

    5. Click on Reset button given towards the bottom of the page

Notification of successful reset of leave balance will be shown.
