Manually adjust leave balance

HawkHR enables admin to manually adjust the leave balance. You can manually adjust the leave balance for a specific employee by Control panel -> Leave -> Balance -> click on the respective employee code, and on leave balance history, click on Manually adjust.

Refer to the following steps to manually adjust the leave balance :

  1. Navigate to: Control panel -> Leave -> Balance
  2. Click on the Manually adjust button (available in the page action bar), a pop-up window will appear, wherein update the following fields:
  3. Select the Employee for whom you want manually adjust leave balance
  4. Select the Leave type (Comp-off/Jury Duty, etc)
  5. Select the Leave count (if counts are positive, add to existing counts) (if counts are negative, subtract from existing counts) (e.g- if admin enters the count as -1, and initially the leave balance was 4, now the updated balance will be 3)
  6. Add the comments, if any and click on submit.
  7. The changes in leave balance will be reflected on the ‘Leave Balance’ screen.

*Please note that manual adjustments should be used in exceptional scenarios only. Also, Hawk HR maintains the complete log of all manual adjustments done which is visible to the concerned employee as well all concerned admins for any auditing purpose.
