Separations: Requests and Approvals

Hawk HR allows the Super admin/admin or who has the access to allow the employees to raise the separation request and approve or reject the same.

  • Separation request can be raised by the employee
  • Separation request raised by reporting manager /admin on behalf of the employee
  1. By the Employee:
    • In order to enable/disable the employee to raise the separation request, update the settings for the same.
    • Click on Control Panel->Settings->Modules. Enable or disable the option”Enable employee separation request option in self services portal”. This will allow the employee to raise the separation request or else, if the option is disabled, it will restrict the employees to raise the separation request
    • The option when enabled, the employee can access the same by clicking on Main Panel->My Home->Separation Request
  2. Separation request raised by the reporting manager on behalf of the employee:
    • The admin can raise the separation request from the path: Main Panel->My Team->Separation requests -> +Create New.
    • A new window pops up where the reporting manager selects the employee and updates the Request date, Expected Relieving date, Notes.
  3. Separation request raised by the Admin manager on behalf of the employee:
    • The admin can raise the separation request from the path: Control Panel->Employee->Separation requests -> +Create New.
    • A new window pops up where the admin selects the employee and updates the Request date, Expected Relieving date, Notes.
  4. Once the separation request has been raised, the email notification is sent to the Super admin, reporting manager, and employee if the notification settings have been enabled for them.
  5. The reporting manager can view/approve/reject the request by clicking on Main Panel->My Team->Separation, and the Admin can view/approve/reject the request by clicking on Control Panel->Employees->Separation request.
  6. Once the separation request has been approved, the exit date updated gets mapped to the employee profile.
  7. Under the action column, you can are available with the option to Add notes, Generate document, Mark as Complete, Deactivate employee, Delete details. You can click on the respective button for the course of action required.
