Multi Entity Setup

Hawk HR allows users to set up multiple entities within the same instance. This allows them to manage multiple entities in a single system and manage employees accordingly.


Enable Entity Setup

  • Navigate to: Control Panel->Settings->Modules
  • Enable the option "Enable Multi Company/ Entity Setup"
  • Scroll down and click on Update

Manage Entity

Hawk HR allows you to add new entities or edit an existing entity. Please refer to the following steps to Add a new Entity:

  • Navigate to: Control Panel->Settings->Modules
  • Scroll down to "Enable Multi Company/ Entity Setup"
  • Now click on the hyperlink "Setup Multiple Company"
  • Fill all the details of entity you wish to add
  • Click on the "Add Entity" button

Note: An entity can be created as default entity as well. This will ensure that employees are mapped to default entity if none is added against them.

Note: When adding multiple entities, the parent company should also be added separately as an individual entity.


Mapping Entity to an employee profile

  • Navigate to Control Panel->Employees->View/Add->Employee Name
  • Click on the Edit icon against an employee to map him/her to the correct entity.
  • Scroll down to Official Details section and then to Entity
  • Select the Entity name for the respective employee
  • Click on Update

*You can also use bulk update to update in bulk for employees.


Edit an Entity

  • Follow the path: Control Panel->Settings->Modules->under the option Enable Multi Company/ Entity Setup
  • Click on the hyperlink "Setup Multiple Company"
  • A new page opens up where click on the edit option for the entity and update the details as per your requirements and click on Update details to save the changes.
  • The changes will get updated for the entity.
