Biometric Configuration (Internal)

Sep 23, 2021

Hawk HR allows out of the box integration with Biometric device which saves any additional cost incurred in Integration. Once the integration is done, we need to verify the below:

Level 1

  • Main display of Biometric Device to check the status of connectivity
  • ADMS settings (Server IP and Port Number) of Biometric Device
    • Server Address/IP: 65.20.79.19
    • Server Port: 84(India)
    • Server Port: 86(Dubai)
    • Server Port: 87(Qatar)
  • Ethernet Settings of Biometric Device
  • The enrollment numbers/user ID (the number with which the employees are registered in biometric) for the employees are the same as the enrollment numbers for them in Hawk HR.
  • Proxy Server should be Off
  • In case of any changes, ask the client to restart the device.

Level 2

  • Verify the Biometric configuration at our end by punching in attendance in office.
  • Check if the device is showing "connected" or not.

Level 3 (At Client's end)

Request the IT person to check the following at their end

  • Check the Firewall Block
  • Check the IP conflict
  • Check the Port Block

Level 4 (Vendor End)

  • Ask the client to connect with their vendor
  • If vendor says, everything is working fine. Request him to show the ping at his test/local server(Every vendor has one)

Note: Essl Machines are configured via Serial Number and Biomax Machine via Cloud ID
