Editing a document template

HawkHR enables admin to edit a document template. Admin can customize the document template as per his/ her need. Refer to the following steps to edit a document template,

  1. Navigate to: Control panel -> Forms/Policies -> Document template

  2. The table shows different documents template with their complete details

  3. You can search the name of the template in the search box

  4. Click on Edit option under actions to edit the template

  5. A new page will open up, showing fields to edit

  6. Enter the Title of the document

  7. Enter the Description of the template

  8. Select the Module

  9. Tick the check box to allow employee to generate the document

  10. Tick the check box to allow employee to save the document

  11. Choose the updated file under upload status

  12. You can download the previously existing file

  13. You can define additional keys using the format {{keyname}}, add the value, click on add key (in case you have additional requirements)

  14. Click on Update button

The document template will be updated instantly.
