Configuring weekend and sandwich rules

HawkHR enables admin to customize the settings for leave configuration. In order to configure weekends in sandwich rule:

  1. Navigate to: Control panel -> Settings -> Leaves, down scroll the page to come to the section of Add Leave Category

  2. The last two check boxes configure the incorporation of weekend in leave counts:

    1. Mark the upper check box to Consider weekends in between leave term as leave

    2. Mark the lower check box to Consider holidays in between leave term as leave

  3. Click on Add button to update the settings
