Troubleshooting: Attendance Not Reflecting for Specific Employees Despite Biometric Punches

If attendance is reflecting for other employees but is missing for a specific employee, the most common reason is a mismatch in the employee's Enrollment Number.

The Enrollment Number configured in HRStop must exactly match the Enrollment Number with which the employee is registered on the biometric device. If these values do not match, attendance punches cannot be mapped to the employee in HRStop.

Important Note

Employee Code and Enrollment Number are separate fields in HRStop. Depending on your organization's setup, these values may be the same or different.

What Should You Check?
  • Verify the Enrollment Number assigned to the employee on the biometric device.
  • Verify the Enrollment Number updated in the employee's HRStop profile.
  • Ensure both values match exactly.

Once the correct Enrollment Number is updated in HRStop, attendance records going forward should start reflecting for the employee.
