0:00 --> 0:05
Now, we will discuss leave notifications available in the system.
0:05 --> 0:10
To access these, navigate to Control Panel → Settings → Notifications.
0:10 --> 0:15
Once on the Notifications page, search for the Leave option.
0:15 --> 0:20
In the Leave section, you will find various notifications, such as who will receive an email when leaves are applied by employees.
0:20 --> 0:25
You can configure recipients here, including the employee, reporting manager, HOD, or head supervisor.
0:25 --> 0:30
You can also add additional emails in CC so that others are informed about the leave applications.
0:30 --> 0:35
Other notifications include long leave notifications, which are triggered if a leave exceeds a specified number of days.
0:35 --> 0:40
You can configure when these notifications are sent, for example, 3 days or 10 days in advance, based on your requirements.
0:40 --> 0:45
Recipients can be selected for leave approval, rejection, leave credit request approval, or rejection.
0:45 --> 0:50
Similarly, notifications can be configured for on-duty leaves, work-from-home requests, or optional holidays.
0:50 --> 0:55
You can also set reminders for pending leaves if a manager has not approved them, sending reminders to the reporting manager.
0:55 --> 1:00
For compensatory leaves, expiry reminders can be sent to employees so they can apply their comp leave on time.
1:00 --> 1:05
Expiry reminders can also be sent to reporting managers to approve the compensatory leaves promptly.
1:05 --> 1:10
Additionally, reminders can be sent for employees who are going to be on leave in the next 2–3 days.
1:10 --> 1:15
After configuring all the leave notifications, click Save.
1:15 --> 1:20
In this way, all leave alerts can be configured from the Notifications section in the system.
