(0:01) Now we'll discuss how as an admin you can apply leave on behalf of the employee.
(0:09) You can just click on you can just go to the control panel -> leaves -> and then employees.
(0:15) After going to the employees, you will come onto this page. Here you will have this option
of apply leave. Click on the apply leave option.
(0:23) You can select the particular employee you want to apply the leave for.
(0:26) Let's say I am applying the leave for, but in this thing I have selected the name of the employee.
(0:33) When I select the name of the employee, all the leaves that have been credited to them or entitled to them,
(0:39) all the leave categories, whatever balance is available
to that particular employee will be visible.
(0:44) Here I can see, uh, in bereavement leave, they have 12 balance. Others are zero balance.
(0:51) So I can apply the leave in bereavement category. I'll choose the leave type that is there.
(0:57) Any leave rules that is defined in the system for this particular category will be available here. You can refer to those rules accordingly.
(1:04) You can define the leave period for which you're applying the leave.
(1:07) And here the number of leaves count will be showing. You want to apply the leave for which reason,
you can mention the reason here.
(1:14) You can upload the, uh, requested file. In case upload file is mandatory, you will have to upload the document necessary so that you'll be able to submit the leave request accordingly.
(1:28) As you are applying the leave as an admin, you can keep the status as approved or pending as per your, uh, requirement.
(1:36) Because mostly it is approved since as an admin you are applying,
(1:38) So there is no need for further approval. So you can keep the status as approved from here.
(1:45) In case you want the manager or anyone else to give the approval, you can keep the status as pending from here and submit.
