We are excited to introduce a new enhancement in the Payroll module that gives you greater control and flexibility over user access and administrative actions.
With this update, you can now assign granular, admin-level permissions for:
- Create
- Read
- Update
- Delete
- Export
These permissions can be managed not only at the module level but also at the data level, ensuring that users access only what they are authorised to see.
✨ Key Highlights of the Update
1. Admin-Level Permissions
You can now provide specific rights—such as creating, updating, or exporting payroll data—to selected employees based on their role.
2. Data-Level Permissions
We have introduced two advanced controls to help you manage data visibility more effectively:
a) Hierarchy-Based Access
Users can access payroll data of employees who fall under their reporting hierarchy.
b) Access to All Data Except Selected Employees
Users can be granted access to all payroll data except for employees you choose to exclude.
This helps in maintaining confidentiality while ensuring operational ease.
🧭 Navigation Path
To assign or update permissions:
Control Panel → Settings → Employee Permissions
- Select the desired employee.
- Assign the required permissions related to the Payroll module.
- Once permissions are updated, the user must sign out and log in again for changes to reflect.
