On Duty (OD) Leave is designed for employees who are away from the office for official purposes during regular working hours, such as:
- Attending client meetings
- Participating in training sessions
- Performing off-site tasks or assignments
Instead of applying for casual or paid leave, employees can submit an On Duty request to indicate their presence at an alternate official location. This ensures accurate tracking of work hours and activities.
Submitting On Duty Leave Requests
Employees can easily submit On Duty leave requests directly through their Self-Service Portal. The workflow is as follows:
- Employee submits an On Duty leave request.
- The request is routed to the reporting manager or admin for review and approval.
- Once approved, the status of the request is updated to Approved in the employee’s Main Panel, ensuring transparency and accurate record-keeping.
Enabling the On Duty Module
To allow employees, managers, and admins to access and use the On Duty feature, the module must first be enabled in the system settings.
Steps to Enable:
-

Control Panel → Settings → Modules - Scroll to the MISCELLANEOUS section.
- Check the box for: Enable On Duty Leave Module
