In HRStop, Auto-Approval ensures that leave requests are automatically approved if no action is taken within a specific timeframe. This helps maintain workflow continuity and prevents delays due to unresponsive managers or admins.
How Auto-Approval Works:
- If a leave request is not approved or rejected within the defined period, the system automatically approves it.
- You can configure the number of days after which the auto-approval should trigger.
Steps to Enable Auto-Approval:
Step 1: Navigate to Leave Settings
- Go to Control Panel → Settings → Leave.
Step 2: Edit the Desired Leave Category
- Scroll to the leave category for which you want to enable auto-approval.
- Click Edit.
Step 3: Configure Approval Settings
- Find the section titled Approval Workflow or Auto-Approval.
- Enable the checkbox “Enable Auto-Approval”.
- Set the time duration (e.g., 3, 5, or 7 days) after which the request should be auto-approved if pending.
Step 4: Save the Settings
- Click Save to apply the auto-approval configuration.
Best Practices:
- Clearly communicate this policy to managers to encourage timely action.
- Set a reasonable auto-approval window (e.g., 3–5 working days).
- Monitor reports to track auto-approved requests for audit purposes.
