Managing Assets

HRStop’s Asset Management module allows admins to easily track, update, assign, and monitor all company assets. With features like filtering, bulk actions, exports, and assignment tools, managing assets becomes organized and efficient.

How to Access Asset Management

  1. Navigate to the Control Panel.
  2. Go to the Assets section.
  3. Click on View/Add to access the full list of assets.

Filtering and Viewing Assets

You can filter and search assets based on:

  • Category
  • Department
  • Designation
  • Brand
  • Assignment status (Assigned/Unassigned)
  • Employee name
  • Live Stage

You can also export the filtered data to CSV or PDF for reporting or audit purposes.

Asset Details You Can View

Once you scroll down in the list:

  • Asset Name and Unique Code
  • Assigned To
  • Assignment Date
  • Next Service Date
  • Procurement Details
  • Action Icons for each asset

Available Actions for Each Asset

Each asset has the following management options:

  1. Request Return
    • Initiate a return request with expected return date and comments.
  2. Change Return Date
    • Modify the return deadline for an already-assigned asset.
  3. Release Asset
    • Use this when an employee exits or no longer needs the asset.
  4. Edit Assignment
    • Update any assignment details as needed.
  5. Copy to New
    • Clone the asset details to create a similar new entry with minor edits.
  6. Delete
    • Delete the asset or assignment record entirely.

Grouping and Bulk Actions

You can also:

Group By

  • Group assets by Category, Brand, or view Without Grouping.

Bulk Actions

  • Assign assets in bulk
  • Update Life Stages
  • Release multiple assets
  • Delete multiple assets

Simply select the checkboxes beside assets and choose the appropriate bulk action from the menu.

=> Use Case Example

If three laptops are assigned and due for replacement, you can:

  • Filter by brand or employee
  • Select all three
  • Click Update Life Stage to mark them as "To Be Returned"
  • Export the data as a report for internal tracking
