Sometimes you may need to update an asset's details or reassign it to a different employee. This article explains how to do both easily from the system.
Steps to Edit an Existing Asset:
- Navigate to: Control Panel → Assets → View/Add
- Search or filter for the asset using name, code, category, or employee.
- Click the Edit icon next to the asset.

Update the necessary fields:
- Asset Title, Description, Code
- Live Stage or Next Service Date
- Procurement details, documents, or notes
- Click Save.
Steps to Reassign an Asset:

In the same Edit Asset form:
- Go to the Assign To section
- Select the new employee from the dropdown.
- Update the Issue Date and Expected Return Date.
- Add any comments if needed.
- Click Save to complete reassignment.
