How to Activate UAN

Refer to the following steps to activate the UAN.

1.Navigate to: Go to the EPFO website and Click "Activate UAN" on the bottom-right corner of the page.

2. Newly Page will be Open like below:

3. Fill up all column as per instruction.

UAN: Mention your correct UAN.
Member ID: When you mention UAN then System is auto generated you Member ID hare.
Name: Mention Your Name as per Adhar card.
Date of birth: Mention Your DOB as per Your Adhar card.
Mobile number: Mention Your Mobile Number that is linked with your Adhar card.
Captcha text: Mention Captcha text as per instruction.
Finaly Click "Get Authorization Pin".

4.You will now get a one-time password (OTP) on your mobile number. Copy it.

5. Verify all the details on the EPFO page and tick the checkbox next to I Agree.

6. Paste the OTP from your phone next to Enter OTP and click Validate OTP and Activate UAN.

7. Finaly you will receive "Password" for Login your EPFO Portal.

Note: This will activate your UAN, and the password will be sent to your mobile number. You will still need to wait for six hours before you can log in to the EPFO portal to check PF balance. Six hours after activating UAN, you can check PF balance.
