How to Add Footnotes to Components in HRStop

HRStop provides a versatile feature that allows you to include footnotes for each component within your salary templates. This functionality is useful for specifying additional information or conditions related to various salary components. Here’s a detailed guide on how to add footnotes:

  1. Access the Salary Template:
    • Navigate to the Control Panel in your HRStop portal.
    • From the Control Panel, select Payroll.
    • Proceed to Salary Template.
  2. Edit the Salary Template:
    • Find and select the salary template you wish to modify.
    • Click on the Edit button to make changes to the template.
  3. Add or Modify Components:
    • If you need to add a new component, do so in the designated area for components.
    • For existing components, you can adjust or update them as needed.
  4. Insert Footnotes:
    • Below the section where you add or edit components, you will find a column labeled Footnote.
    • In this column, enter the specific footnote information related to the component.

Example: If your organization has a component such as House Rent Allowance (HRA) that is applicable after a 3-month completion period, you can use the footnote field to specify this condition. For instance, you might enter, "HRA is applicable after 3 months of employment."
