How to update the geo coordinated for Mobile Attendance

Geolocation-based restrictions in mobile attendance systems work by establishing predefined geographic boundaries, known as geo-fences, within which employees are permitted to punch in or out. HRStop enables you to view and self-update the latitude and longitude coordinates within these geo-fencing settings, ensuring that punches are only accepted when employees are within the designated areas.

Step 1: To export the geo coordinates report, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to: Control Panel -> Attendance.
  2. Click on the Import dropdown menu and select 'Export.'
  3. On the export page, apply the necessary filters, choose 'Punches' format, and select the 'Geo Coordinate' option before clicking 'Download.'

Once the report is downloaded, you can update the geo coordinates using the data from this report.

Step 2: To update the geo coordinates:

  1. Go to: Control Panel -> Settings -> Attendance.
  2. Click on 'Configure' and select the Import dropdown menu.
  3. Under 'Mobile Attendance,' choose 'Configure Geo Fencing' and update the latitude and longitude information accordingly.
