Process of Shift Change Request

HRStop offers the Shift Change Request module for enhanced flexibility. To activate this feature, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Control Panel -> Settings -> Attendance -> Configure.
  2. Choose "Allow Employee to request for the shift change."

Enabling this functionality allows users to submit shift change requests through the system. Once activated, users can send requests from the Main Panel using the path: Main Panel -> Attendance -> Shift Change Request.

Follow these steps on the Shift Change Request page:

  1. Select the Type.
  2. Choose the Select Period.
  3. Pick the desired Shift.
  4. Provide a Reason for changing the Shift.
  5. Click on Request to submit the request.

By following these steps, users can seamlessly utilize the Shift Change Request module within HRStop.

After an employee has submitted a shift change request, both the admin and reporting manager have the ability to review and respond to the request. Here's how the reporting manager can approve or reject the shift change request:

  1. Reporting Manager:
    • To approve or reject a shift change request, the reporting manager should go to Main Panel -> Attendance -> Shift Change Requests.
    • On the Shift Change Requests page, the reporting manager will find a list of all submitted requests.
    • Utilize the available filters to streamline the view and locate specific requests.
    • Take appropriate actions, such as approving or rejecting, based on the details provided.

By following this path and process, reporting managers can efficiently manage and respond to shift change requests from their team members.

2. Admin:

To approve or reject a shift change request as an admin, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Control Panel -> Attendance -> Shift Change Requests.
  2. On the Shift Change Requests page, you will see a comprehensive list of all submitted requests.
  3. Make use of the available filters to efficiently narrow down the view and locate specific requests.
  4. Review the details of each request, including the type, period, selected shift, and the reason provided by the employee.
  5. Take appropriate actions, such as approving or rejecting the request, based on the information provided.

By following this path and process, administrators can effectively manage and respond to shift change requests across the organization.
