Web based attendance

HawkHR enables admin to allow its employees to deliver attendance punches via HawkHR portal of their company. Admin can configure the settings of web based attendance according to the needs of the company. Refer to the following steps to configure the web based attendance:

  1. Navigate to: Control panel -> Settings ->Attendance -> Configure, the newly opened page will show attendance module enabling options

  2. Enable Attendance Module: Check that the option of Enable Attendance Module must be marked on the top of the page (Checking this option will enable the attendance module in the portal and the employees attendances will start getting captured. If unchecked, you will not be able to use any form of attendances in the portal.)

  3. Disable Web based attendance: Activating this will disable the web attendance in the portal. This will also hide the top header TimeIn and TimeOut buttons

  4. For configuring web attendance exception click on Configure Web Attendance Exception

  • A new page will open up containing lists for configuring attendance exceptions

  • Check that the option of Enable Attendance Exception must be marked on the top of the page (Activating this will enable attendance exception and will mark their attendance based on attendance exceptions and default attendance exception)

  • Under the section of Web/ Mobile, select the Department & Designation

  • Select the module (web/ Mobile)

  • Click on Save button to save the changes

  • The saved entry will be updated in the list, you can further edit or delete the entry with the help of options given under Actions

  • You can also select the employees by the drop down Select Employee option

  • Select the module (web/ Mobile)

  • Click on Save button to save the changes

  • The saved entry will be updated in the list, you can further edit or delete the entry with the help of options given under Actions column
