Attendance time method calculation

HawkHR enables the admin or someone with the permission of settings module to see how they want the daily hours to be calculated in the system.

Keeping track of the time your employees work is vital for any business. While it might seem like all you need to do is write down how many hours your employees work each day, proper record-keeping requires much more. Many businesses use different ways of calculating total worked hours based on their requirement. HawkHR allows businesses to easily manage the process of keeping track of when employees are working and when they?ÇÖre not by providing different methods of total hours calculation.

Therefore, currently in the system total hours can be calculated based on multiple options:

Alternate: If ?ÇÿAlternate?ÇÖ option is selected then total time is calculated as sum of sets of ?ÇÿTime In?ÇÖ and ?ÇÿTime Out?ÇÖ. FirstIn LastOut: If ?ÇÿFirstIn LastOut?ÇÖ option is selected then total time is calculated as the difference between ?ÇÿFirst In?ÇÖ and ?ÇÿLast Out?ÇÖ for the day.i.e the system will consider the first TimeIn and the last TimeOut, not considering the next TimeIn if any marked by the employee. e.g Punches below: TimeIn TimeOut 9:30 AM 11:00 AM 11:30 AM 5:00 PM 7:30 PM In the table above the first TimeIn 09:30 am and last Timeout 05:00 pm will be considered in case the FirstIn and LastOut is opted for attendance calculation method.

Firstpunch LastPunch: If this option is selected then total time is calculated as the difference between the first punch and last punch of the day. (i.e difference between 09:30 am and 07:30 pm, as per the example above)

Direction Based: This allows you to manage directional attendances and calculates the difference between your first Time In and first Time Out based on directions

Direction Last Out: This allows you to manage directional attendances and calculates the difference between your first Time In and last Time Out based on directions

By default, the system calculates total time based on ?ÇÿAlternate?ÇÖ setting.
