Leave approval (Admin)

HRStop gives Admins a clear and flexible interface to view, manage, approve, or reject leave requests submitted by employees. It offers two powerful views – Calendar View and List View – for better insight and action.

Navigation Path:

Control Panel → Leaves → Employees

Leave Approval Process:

  1. Navigate to the Leave Management Page
    Go to Control Panel → Leaves → Employees.
  2. Choose Your Preferred View: Calendar View:
    • Displays a visual map of all employee leaves for the selected month.
    • Helps Admins quickly understand leave overlaps and team availability.
    • Holidays are color-coded for clarity.
    • Use the shift selector to view leave data per work shift.
    List View:
    • Offers a detailed breakdown of each leave request.
    • Ideal for performing actions like approve/reject, adding comments, or filtering.
    • Apply filters to sort by:
      • Leave status (Pending, Approved, Rejected)
      • Leave type
      • Date range
      • Department or shift
  3. Perform Actions on Requests
    • Use the approve or reject icons in the Actions column.
    • All updates are reflected immediately and notifications are triggered to the employee.

Additional Tips:

  • You can switch between views seamlessly depending on your need (strategic vs. transactional).
  • The system maintains an audit trail of leave actions, available under the employee profile or reports section.
  • Leaves approved here are automatically synced with the attendance and payroll systems (if integrated).
