UAN stands for Universal Account Number, it is a 12-digit number, every employer contributing to EPF has it. The Employee Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) allots it. UAN of an employee remains same throughout life irrespective of the number of job he/she changes.
Employees' State Insurance (abbreviated as ESI) is a self-financing social security and health insurance scheme for Indian workers. The fund is managed by the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).
HawkHR enables admin to manage employees UAN/ PF/ ESIC Account numbers.
Refer to the following steps to manage these accounts:
Navigate to: Control panel -> Payroll -> UAN/ PF/ ESIC Accounts
The newly opened page shows the UAN/ PF/ ESIC Accounts numbers for all the employees
Edit: You can edit any account number by clicking on the respective fields
Filter: You can filter the entries based on status of employees (Active/ Inactive)
Click on Save to save the changes
All the changes will be made instantly.
